Welcome to PlotGarden

Dear Fellow Writer,

Welcome to PlotGarden. Where Stories Bloom.

Have you ever struggled with organization? Brainstorming? Inspiration? Then PlotGarden is the service for you. For female writers at different life stages, PlotGarden is a personal sanctuary to organize your story and stay motivated. Unlike writing websites that prioritize either structure or creativity, PlotGarden balances organized planning through beautiful and intentional design.

Writing a novel is not for the faint of heart. Since I began writing my book this year, I have tried many methods to brainstorm and keep myself organized. There has been no shortage of methods attempted. I have used sticky notes on poster boards to brainstorm, calendars to schedule out my plans, and created endless Google Docs pages and tabs in failed attempts to organize my thoughts. After a couple months of struggling to effectively consolidate my thoughts and write at a decent pace, I decided that I needed a change. And I am willing to bet that I am not the only writer who feels this way.

I have dreamed of creating a beautiful space where I could store all of my book ideas, plot points, character logs, mood boards and deadlines for my novel. I believe that writers, especially newer ones such as myself, need a beautiful and organized space to plant creative ideas and water the seeds with consistency. All in one place. This website will resonate with you, the writer, because needing inspiration, trying to stay organized, and getting motivated are realities for most of us in this field. Both indie and traditionally published writers who love planning and aesthetics need tools that feel good to use. I want to help writers create and nurture a beautiful story. And structure is needed in order for these things to be accomplished.

PlotGarden is the creation from a difficult season of feeling stuck as a writer. But I believe that the sun will shine upon each gardener of words as they take off on their journey to write their own novels.

In the meantime before PlotGarden’s service launches, join the email list to read 2x a week blogs that will motivate you in your work. Blog topics will range from writing prompts to mood board inspiration.

Sincerely,

Katie (a fellow writer)
